Pre-Wedding Happenings

To bring you up to date ...
We arrived in LA and Chris immediately set about feeding us as much food as our stomachs could hold. He took us to Lusious Dumplings. It was lunch time and there was a line to get in. So we waited. I was tempted to walk next door and get a slice of pizza, but I'm glad I didn't. This place was really good.

We ate shrimp & cabbage dumplings, soup dumplings, chive dumplings and beef brisket noodle soup.

Mike thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

Later, we headed over to Chris's house to meet his future brothers-in-law. Sunny's 2 older brothers flew over from Korea for the wedding. Kwang-Sik speaks and understands a small amount of english and Heon-Sik doesn't speak any and I think he understands almost none. We had some interesting conversations. We really liked them though. And more importantly they liked Chris!

We decided to do a little sightseeing. Sunny's brothers had never been to the United States. So we took them to the Santa Monica Pier.

Then we headed to Hollywood to see Griffith Park and the Observatory. This is a view of LA.

Steve says he's a hands-on type of guy. I believe him! He had his hands all over Hollywood!

More wedding adventures coming....
