Eagles

Steve and I took our yearly trek over to Alton to see the Eagles.  Last year there were very few.  This year there were lots and lots.  Especially young ones.  The lake by the bridge where we usually stop was full of ice. No eagles here, but lots of trumpeter swans.

 

As we drove down the highway you got a good look at the frozen river.  Nothing moving  here except for birds.

 

This guy was keeping an eye out on the younger eagles.

 

These 2 stayed together the whole time.  We couldn't tell if they were playing or fighting - don't know if eagles fight with each other.

Way behind!

I am way behind in posting Christmas photos.  These are from several different days and places!  Heather is loving her new vest!  Matt seems to be getting a kick out of watching his Mom model.  Years ago he marked off this chair as his for Christmas Eve, so don't try and sit here!

Steve received this Geocaching  coffee cup for Christmas.  It's pretty funny!

Chris planned a party for Sunny's birthday. Lots of family, friends and food.  The only picture I have is of her cake. It was really fun to see all the little kids that belong to their friends. She was truly surprised and enjoyed the get together!
