Warm Springs Ranch

We went to Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville a few days ago.  This is where Anheuser Busch breeds and trains their clydesdales.

This is the baby that was shown on the Super Bowl Commercial. At the time she was a new born.  Now about 7 months old.

They wash their feet every day to keep them white.

Their facility was beautiful.

Goats! They're no friend of mine!

Grants Farm

Olivia took her first trip to Grants Farm this week.  She had a relaxed attitude about the whole thing.

 At first she was hesitant about the small horse, but soon she was trying to kiss its nose.

 That's some bad breath there!

She did like the elephant.

All in all - a good first trip.

The 4th of July

We started the day off by taking Olivia to the St Charles parade.  She loved the balloons & horses.  Did not care for the clown though!

Mary, Catherine & Michael helped decorate the jello.

This motorcycle looked good at first.

Then it made a really loud screeching noise!

We found a tree monkey.

The crowd gathers for the show in the backyard.  Olivia and Michael only lasted for the first firework.  Then I took them inside!

Aunt Sunny got quite the workout.

This is a little blurry.  I think someones nose pressed up against the lense.  This ice cream turned out quite tasty.

Carlyle Lake

  We went to the lake to sail this past weekend, but the kids found plenty of other activities to keep busy!

Catherine and Mary kept us safe from fires.

Olivia and her daddy played hide-n-seek.

 Flying down the hill was pretty exciting.  Much laughter!

 Olivia enjoyed chasing the goose.  Not sure he enjoyed it though!
