A lesson in chicken

Catherine and Grandma participated in a cooking class last week. She was so excited, I'm surprised she was able to sleep the night before, although she did wake up at 5:50am!

Catherine was in charge of making the chicken. First you take the chicken and dip it in the flour.

Next, you give it an egg wash.

The last step is rolling it in bread crumbs.

Our first course consisted of a type of puppy chow.

Then we had crackers and deviled egg topping.

Catherine's chicken looked delicious.

We also had green beans, a vege combo of squash, turnips, potatoes and carrots and of course a yummy cupcake made of pumpkin with a cream cheese icing. She and I will definitely take another class!
