Williamsburg

Colonial Williamsburg.  We haven't been here in at least 30 years.  I don't think we even had Tommy the last time we were here.  It was everything I hoped for.  We enjoyed walking around the colonial village and biking around town.

There was a revolution!

My favorite part wasn't even the colonial village.  It was a house from the 40's.  Rockefeller bought this dilapidated house and had it redone.  He also invested 100 million into the town to restore the village.

This is the outside of the house from the backyard.

General George Washington spent enough time here that he had his own pew in the local church.

There were tons of lilacs.  They smelled heavenly!

This is the front hallway of the Governors Palace.  I think he wanted to make a statement.
