All my life, my brain has spent a good part of the day without adult supervision. While my boss is speaking to me on the phone, the gray matter is consumed with counting how many days until baseball season ends. Of course, when he asks a question, another part of my head comes up with a credible answer, so there must be a lot of stuff going on up there.
The exception? Audio input generated by my spouse (Kim). I often have trouble recalling what she said 10 seconds ago! (Even though it's usually incredibly insightful).
These postings will capture some of those meanderings. That way, the family can track my neural processes and accurately know when the time comes to put me away. I don't mean to set any expectation that you'll find useful and unique observations here. If you want that, check out my brother's blog to the right ... Vitamin Moose. When I say "manifesto of the mundane", that's probably a fairly accurate preview of things to come.
