Worker Man Day

Grandpa had Worker Man Day with Michael and Gussie.  They came over in the morning and Grandpa had them hammering, drilling and painting.  They made this nice birdhouse and a set of stilts for Mary for her birthday.

We celebrated in true Rennier fashion.  With ice cream and cake!  Gus wore his favorite expression.  I'm gonna look at the camera, but you can't make me smile!

First I must say, it's Sunday evening and raining for the 3rd day and I'm loving it!  Ok.  Now onto the boring family pictures.  Steve is not sure what to do with his chopsticks.  Send Sunny!  Quick!!

A few weeks ago we took both dogs with us in the RV to Mark Twain Lake.  Since there's only one couch in the RV they had to share.

 One evening we ran into Hannibal and had dinner.  And ice cream!

 It was the perfect time to go to the lake.  No one was there!  School had just started back up and it was deserted.  Apart from a handful of people, we had the beach all to ourselves.

Catherine is a big fan of taking pictures of herself and Michael.  He is a willing accomplice.

Entertaining Grandma sure wears a guy out.

Baby Gus

I've been remiss in not posting pictures of my newest grandson!  Here he is! Baby Gus!  He is quite the handsome boy.  I barely got to hold him because his sisters have appointed themselves his care givers! And they do seem pretty good at it.  Now I know who will be taking care of me and Steve when we get older!
