Mt. Charleston, Neveda

While in Vegas, Steve and I drove to Mt. Charleston. It's only about 30 minutes away, but it's nothing like Vegas. You aren't able to drive to the top of Mt Charleston. You have to hike up there.

They had snow!

When you get to the lodge, that's as far as you can go by car. We went in and had some hot chocolate. It was 30 degrees outside!

It was a nice little trip. Good to get away from the neon lights, cigarette smoke and clanging bells for a little while.
