Amber put lots of good pictures on her blog so I'm showing you some of the silly ones!  Charlie enjoyed his 2nd vacation with the grandkids.  (Colorado last year was his first).

Pioneer Woman and Magnolia Silos

 While the guys were in New Mexico on a hiking trip, the girls took a trip to visit the Pioneer Woman and Magnolia Silos.  We arrived early enough in Pawhuska, OK that we didn't have to wait in line for breakfast.  The Pancakes had the best flavored butter I've ever had.  Delicious!

The lodge was open for visitors on the day we were there.  We took a drive out to the "country" to check it out.  The "country" dogs attacked my car and scratched both sides of it.  Don't need to repeat this visit!

Next stop was Waco, TX to visit Magnolia.  This is their newest restaurant.

We didn't eat here because the wait was about 3 hours.

A couple miles away is the actual Silo Stores.

This is the courtyard behind the silos that has picnic seating and food trucks around the perimeter.

I didn't buy anything at her stores because her stuff is  pretty darn expensive!

The Tetons

The Tetons mountains are easily accessible via a short drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  They rise from flat plains, with no foothills, creating a dramatic visual effects ...

We have heard people rave about Yellowstone National Park in the past, and were able to join our neighbors, the Bahrs, in seeing the place for ourselves ...

Branson Fun!

Another successful trip to Big Cedar  happened last week. We all had so much fun.  Amber posted lots of lake pictures but she isn't included in any of them so here's one of her and some baby geese.  

Bumper cars were a big hit.

This is a terrible, terrible ride.  You go around and around and get dizzy and feel like you are going to throw up.  I went on it twice and said, "Enough!" Catherine, Mary, Amber & Edie are in this shot. The girls would have done this all day if we would have let them.

Everyone needs a rootbeer float break!

This was fun to watch.  Glad I wasn't on it getting soaked!

Charleston 2018

We had so much fun in Charleston with Tommy & Jena.  We took a harbor boat tour and all got sunburned!  But we saw Ft Sumpter and the USS Yorktown.

This was a house tour.  We were slightly disappointed. There were no furnishings and the place was crumbling.  But they told us they wanted us to see how it was built!

We did an escape room and loved it!  We escaped with about 1 minute left on the clock!  Thanks Tommy for being so smart!
