STL to Chattanooga

Sunshine!  Warm Sunshine!  We are on our way to Florida with Mike & Amber and all the grandkids. Here we are having lunch in a parking lot.

We stayed over in Chattanooga for 2 nights.  We took a nice walk along the river.

 They have a really nice aquarium.  This is outside the front of it.

 The kids enjoyed watching all the fish and turtles.

 The blue bridge in the background is a pedestrian bridge.  We walked all the way across it and back.  Those grandkids are full of energy!

 This is one of our lunches.  Amber usually has one of the kids on her back and holding one in the front.  I think she must have large elbows!  (wink wink)!

Cancun

We made our first trip to Cancun in January. The weather was nice and warm.  Here we are taking a selfie off of our balcony.

We stayed at Moon Palace.

 We took a lobster cruise one evening.  The man behind us played the saxophone while everyone danced on the top of the boat!

After dinner one evening we watched a Michael Jackson impersonator.  He was pretty good.

 I'm sitting in Cancun in 80 degree weather right now looking at Christmas pictures! I am so far behind!  So here are the pics that were on  my phone.  I think there are more at home on my camera. Steve and I went to the AB Brewery before Christmas and checked out the lights.

I attended Olivia's school Christmas party.  Of course the highlight was Santa! When he asked her what she wanted she became tongue tied!

Every year Steve and I take my parents and Aunts & Uncles out to lunch or dinner at Christmas time.  This year Aunt Pat and Uncle Frank couldn't make it, but cousin Sue and her dad Uncle Tom were able to come.  We went to the Holiday Traditions on Main Street and enjoyed a great meal and even better show.  Below Jack Frost is harassing Steve.

Cookie Making with the Grandkids

A couple weeks ago 5 of the 6 grandkids came over for a sleep over.  We crammed in as much fun as we could!  We started by making candy.  Catherine loves to have her picture taken.

In between baking there was tree climbing.

 We also went out for pizza and looked at Christmas lights.

We came back to the house and made more candy.

 I'm sure there were more sprinkles on the floor than the counter top!

There was much discussion about having perfectly round pretzels for the candy to fit in.  You didn't want to have any that were "out of shape"!

Thanksgiving Day Football

We played.  I mean they played - I watched. A little game of football was played on Thanksgiving.  Watchout!  It looks like a throw gone wild!
